This year's direction is "quiet luxury" — refined, wearable and beautifully made, rather than loud. Four looks define 2026:

Chrome accents

Chrome has moved from costume to couture. The 2026 version is the chrome accent: a matte or nude base with metallic detail — a glazed tip, a fine liquid-metal line, or tiny chrome studs near the cuticle. It reads expensive without being loud.

Aura nails

Soft, glowing gradients that seem to radiate from the centre of the nail. The modern take layers overlapping shades — lilac and silver, peach and gold, dusty rose and pearl — often with a sheer jelly or chrome finish for extra dimension.

Reimagined French tips

The French is back, but rarely classic. Think slim glossy tips with a chrome or cat-eye sheen, swirled colour lines, reverse fades and delicate coloured edges on a nude base.

Quiet minimalism

For many, less is the whole point: a single timeless colour, a soft-serve ombré, or one fine detail. Minimalism pairs perfectly with a BIAB base for a clean, healthy-looking finish.

Our five levels of nail art

We price nail art by complexity, so you only pay for the detail you want. Every level is hand-painted by artists with 13+ years of experience.

How much does nail art cost in Bali?

At La Maison Française, nail art runs across five levels from 120K IDR for simple line work to 550K IDR for a couture full set. A classic French Art finish is 150K IDR.

It depends on complexity. Simple accents add a few minutes; intricate hand-painted designs across all ten nails can add 30 to 60 minutes to your appointment.
